Don Carlos – Free – 1992

Italy certainly brought a lot to Electronic music, particularly with Italo Disco but also with Italo House. The latter was born in the Adriatic coast and became very popular in the late 1980s and early 1990s for its uplifting and sunny tunes. It was more accurately defined as “Italian Dream House” by Young Marco who curated three tracks compilations of this era (all must listens!). Don Carlos was one the most prominent figure and he mastered the hazy synths and the sweet sax, the perfect combination to warm up in the cold days 🎷
