It was definitely one of 2020’s sweetest musical moments to see Azymuth’s bass player Alex Malheiros performing with his daughter Sabrina. The stripped-down versions of the “Nu Bossa” singer underline her graceful voice, making them sounds like MPB timeless classics. I particularly enjoyed “Connexão” (starting at 14.13) and was stunned to discover that the legendary Arthur Verocai arranged it.
