The concept was appealing from the start: an EP praising wine (“Allegria De Vino”) released in Detroit on a label called Motorcity Wine Recording. The music is actually very enjoyable too, laid back Hip-Hop vibes and fine cutting skills by one of the city’s top producers.

Baba Stiltz – Just Listen – 2017
Baba Stiltz is definitely not the kind of producer to stick to one genre, with releases ranging from Ambient to Disco / Pop. In “Just Listen”, his source of inspiration was clearly Hip Hop as the main beats are an upbeat version of J Dilla “Heroin Joint”. Really cool party starter 🖖
