The last album of Chicago-based quatuor Kitty & The Haywoods might have come too late in 1981, as Disco was already slowing down in the beginning of the 80’s. The three sisters and niece never reached the fame of akin bands like Sister Sledge. “Excuse me, I Got A life To Catch” is a great album mixing R&B and Disco, with catchy gems like “Sweet Taste Of Honey”.
Funnily enough, it’s Kitty Haywood’s son, the actor / singer Jason Weaver who is today shining light on his mother’s career.
